Admissions

We consider each applicant to Indian School as a whole person, and put enormous care into evaluating every application.

Indian School-Dar es Salaam, offers education to students of all sections of society. Admission to all classes is subject to seat availability and qualifying for an entrance examination, except for Balvatika-I. Admission of children of Indian expatriates may be made at any time during the session, subject to the stipulations laid down by the CBSE for classes IX-XII. The Principal, however, has the discretion to decide on admissions.

1: Uniforms are to be purchased from outside.
2: Textbooks, Notebooks, Belt, Tie, Badge, and House T-Shirts are available in the
School Store for purchase.
3: School bus facility may be used subject to availability.

Stage 1-Registration for Admission Test.

Application Form for Registration and Prospectus are available at the Reception. Admissions will be determined after the Admission Test.

Stage 2: Admission Test for Indian School DSM

If qualified the school would intimate the parents when the stage III process would be carried out.

Step 3: Submission of Application for admission

Submission of Application for admission along with the documents. A photocopy each of all the documents to be submitted.

Stage 4 -FEE Payment for Admission Process

Collection of fee slip, payment of fees and submission of fee paid receipt in school.

Stage 5-Collection of Admission slip

Stage-V. Collection of Admission slip from the Principal and admission of the student in class.

Important Note to Parents: Age
  • A student seeking admission to Balvatika-I (Nursery) should have completed 3 (Three) years of age as on 31st May of the year in which admission is sought.
  • A Birth Certificate (passport may be considered in the absence of a Birth Certificate) in case of admission to Balvatika-I
  • A valid Transfer Certificate in all other classes.
